Randy Gibson, the Americana rocker from Burbank, California, got his start
in 1980 when he began playing music as an outlet for anger and
frustration. The emotionally powerful product is the result of the
energy Randy pours into each and every song. Having bought some
music equipment, Randy joined his first band, “Blue Sage” and since
then has made a name for himself as an edgy and uninhibited solo artist.
In the early nineties, Randy teamed up with Tracy Longstreth
who produced his first record Krysis “Bad Man” in 1993. In 2007,
Randy hooked up with the great writer/producer/performer Ronnie King (Tupac Shakur, The Offspring,
Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg,) to produce his second album Randy Gibson “Unhinged,” his most
provocative work to date.
Randy has performed live throughout California and Oregon, garnered radio play, a quarter page review in No Cover Magazine and a full page ad in the Pasadena Star for his work with Local Band SoulSpeak “. His music reflects his desire to express genuine emotion in an edgy way. According to Ronnie King, “He [Randy] is the truck driving, hard working, pushy, artistic guy next door. He writes about the way he feels. All I had to do was get him to kill all of his demons and explore the studio space and we started getting something.”
For Randy, music is a medium in which he can “stick theproverbial finger into the face of our system.” “I express in verse, The
Human Condition.” Randy Gibson
